Cancellation and Payment Policy
Read this alongside the Rates and Rebates page, which sets out what sessions cost.
The reserved space
Your sessions are held in a reserved space. We agree on a regular time that's yours, the same day and hour every week, kept for you.
The terms below are what keep that time reserved. They aren't here to penalise you when life gets in the way.
Your free cancellations
Four cancellations a year are included at no charge, and you don't need to give a reason. These apply when you let me know at least seven days ahead.
After your free cancellations
Once those are used, a cancelled or missed session is charged at your usual rate, the rate you've chosen on the sliding scale. The fee holds your reserved time, which stays yours.
A cancellation with less than seven days' notice is charged at your rate and doesn't affect your free cancellation total. You are also given the opportunity to reschedule your session with no extra charge.
Rescheduling
If something comes up, you can move a session rather than lose it. You can reschedule within the week before, during, or the week after the original session.
Reschedule inside that window and any cancellation fee moves with you to the new session, at no extra cost.
If I cancel
If I need to cancel, you're never charged, and I'll find you another time as soon as I can.
Paying
We will hold your card details on file and process your session fee on the day of your session. If the payment doesn't go through we will send you a payment link and request that the payment is made within seven days or before your next session, whichever is sooner.
Cancellation fees are charged on the day of your scheduled session. If you then reschedule that session the fee will be reallocated and you will not be charged again.
Ending our work
You're free to end our work whenever it's right for you. Where you can, I ask for two sessions' notice, so we can close things well rather than leave them open.
